A fixed cost component for items 5 through 10 totals $1,220,410. Contract completion time is 547 calendar days with liquidated damages of $3,000 per calendar day. The contract is subject to Project Labor Agreement requirements, prevailing wage standards, and California's Buy Clean California Act for eligible materials.
A 10 percent bid bond is required. Technical questions must be submitted in writing by October 14, 2026 to Armando Medina in the Street Improvement Division. All bidders must complete Business Improvement Program (BIP) outreach documentation on the Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP) by 4:30 p.m. the calendar day following bid receipt, or their bid will be deemed non-responsive.
