The anticipated contract term runs January 2027 through December 2028, with options to extend for up to three additional years in increments determined by the state. The state reserves the right to award to one or multiple responders, reject all responses, negotiate with highest-scoring responders, or cancel the solicitation. Award is anticipated by November 2, 2026. Contact: Monica Lynn Hanson, 507/233-1240 or monica.hanson@state.mn.us.

Opportunity text

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations require employers to conduct ongoing audiometric testing for employees who are exposed to noise levels at or above 85 decibels for 8 hours. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has conducted a noise survey and concluded that approximately 2,000 employees are or may be exposed to noise levels of 85 decibels on at least one day during the year. The purpose of audiometric testing is to determine whether employees are experiencing hearing loss. Selected Responder will provide OSHA compliance audiometric testing to appropriate DNR employees, located throughout the state, in a timely manner. Responders need to be familiar with, understand, and fully comply with the requirements in OSHA standard 1910.95.
