About this opportunity
The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors is conducting a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to procure as-needed temporary personnel services. The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to provide supplemental staffing across multiple professional domains, specifically administrative, accounting, secretarial, clerical, marketing, and information technology personnel. Vendors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience providing temporary personnel services and possess the capability to supply qualified staff in all specified functional areas. Each individual assignment will be limited to 720 cumulative hours per work order, ensuring flexibility and controlled engagement. The initial submission deadline for Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) is set for 5:00 p.m. on October 27, 2022, though the County will continue accepting SOQs throughout the duration of the Master Agreement. Interested firms can access complete solicitation details through the County's procurement portal at https://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov/ and the Department of Beaches and Harbors website. For additional information or questions, vendors are directed to contact Angelica Vicente at AVicente@bh.lacounty.gov.
The solicitation documents do not specify explicit set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent organizations. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The procurement appears to be an open competition for temporary staffing services, with the County reserving the right to cancel the RFSQ or modify terms and conditions as needed. While specific budget ranges or award values are not explicitly stated, the master agreement structure suggests the potential for multiple vendor selections and ongoing temporary staffing assignments. The County will evaluate vendors based on their demonstrated experience, ability to provide personnel across required functional areas, and capacity to meet the 720-hour assignment limit. This procurement approach allows the Department of Beaches and Harbors significant flexibility in addressing fluctuating staffing needs across various administrative and technical roles.
