The contractor must obtain a City of Compton business license and all required construction permits before work begins. Insurance requirements include general liability and automobile liability of $1,000,000 combined single limit each, workers' compensation per California law, and course-of-construction insurance for the completed project value. The contractor must implement NPDES best management practices and storm water pollution prevention, with potential penalties of $1,000 per day for noncompliance. Contract documents are available beginning August 3, 2026.
