The scope of work includes electrical relocation, flooring installation totaling 1,361 square feet with specific finishes including Wilsonart laminate and Karndean design flooring, cabinet and countertop modifications, vinyl base installation, and comprehensive network infrastructure upgrades requiring installation of 126 total data drops (52 new drops at TECH East Building and 74 new drops at Trenton Hills Learning Center). All labor and materials must be provided by the contractor, with cable labeling requirements and electrical outlet and raceway relocation to maintain usability in new configurations. The mandatory pre-bid walk is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Trenton Hills Learning Center (1008 W Maple Ave, Adrian, MI 49221), with sealed bid proposals due by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, submitted to the William J. Ross Education Service Center (4107 North Adrian Highway, Adrian, MI 49221). Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately following the deadline via Zoom in accordance with Governor Whitmer's Executive Order, with the project completion date set for August 10, 2020.
