About this opportunity
This state and local contract opportunity is for the supply of 200 tons of #3 crushed stone to be delivered and stockpiled at the Ware Creek and Chickahominy Wildlife Management Areas located in Charles City County and New Kent County, Virginia. The contract is divided into two lots of 100 tons each, to be delivered to the respective management areas. The stone must meet the specifications for #3 stone, and the contract allows for up to a 5-ton or 20% overdelivery, which will be billed at the unit price. The Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) may also accept an underdelivery of any amount, in which case the contractor will be billed for the exact amount delivered. The contract has a due date of May 9, 2024.
The contract opportunity is set aside for DSBSD-certified micro or small businesses, including women-owned and minority-owned businesses. The pricing must be deemed fair and reasonable by the agency, and discounts for early prompt payment will not be considered in making awards. The state reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. The solicitation will result in up to two purchase orders with the applicable eVA transaction fee assessed for each order. No additional information is provided on incumbent vendors, award values, or budget ranges.
