The County will retain 5 percent retainage during construction and issue final payment within 30 days of project completion and substantial performance. The successful contractor must furnish a Public Construction Bond, maintain comprehensive insurance coverage per County requirements, provide a detailed construction schedule within 5 working days of pre-construction conference, and warrant all workmanship and materials for one year at no cost to the County.
