About this opportunity

Massachusetts Executive Office of Education is requesting proposals for one Senior Salesforce Administrator Developer position through the ITS87 Staff Augmentation contract via Operational Services Division, with responses due August 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.

The position is sourced from awarded vendors on the OSD statewide contract vehicle; only those holding active OSD awards may bid. Each vendor may submit a maximum of two resumes. The role requires a minimum of 7+ years of Salesforce development experience and demonstrated proficiency in OmniStudio development, Lightning Web Components, Apex development, Experience Cloud implementation, REST/SOAP API integrations, Classic to Lightning migration, and CI/CD with Salesforce CLI and Git-based version control. Platform Developer II and OmniStudio Developer certifications are required; WCAG 2.1 accessibility knowledge and prior K-12 or public-sector project experience are preferred.

The position is based at 135 Santilli Highway, Everett, Massachusetts on a hybrid schedule requiring one day per week on-site. The contract term runs from an agreed-upon start date through June 30, 2027, with an option to renew annually. The role is 37.50 hours per week, 48 weeks per year, and includes all state holidays plus 10 unpaid sick/vacation days. The maximum hourly bill rate is $110, and the bill rate-to-pay rate differential may not exceed 38% or the proposal will be disqualified; preference may be given to proposals with lower differentials.

Required submissions include the resource's resume, "Right to Represent" documentation, and a completed Staff Augmentation Resource Questionnaire. COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption per Executive Order 595 is required. Vendors must disclose any family relationships between the resource and EOE employees and confirm resource availability. In-person interviews will be conducted in Everett; CORI background checks follow resource selection. All responses and the winning bid become public record under the Freedom of Information Act.
