Work must be completed within 60 working days from the date of work order issuance, occurring 20 calendar days after contract award. A bid bond of 5 percent of the total bid or an annual bid bond is required prior to bid opening. Contractors must maintain comprehensive general liability coverage with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate; automobile liability; and workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance, with the City named as primary and non-contributory additional insured. A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted within ten days of award notification.

Award will be made to the lowest and best total net bid from a responsible and responsive vendor, subject to final City Council approval. Pricing must be free of federal, state, and local taxes unless otherwise imposed by a governmental body.
