About this opportunity

The State of Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Purchasing, Travel and Fleet Management is soliciting manufacturers for a nonexclusive negotiated contract for automotive parts and equipment, with proposals due by 3:00 p.m. CDT on September 18, 2026.

Manufacturers must register as vendors in the state e-procurement system (MAGIC) and submit proposals electronically. All pricing must reflect a minimum 10 percent discount from the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) and remain firm for the entire twelve-month contract term with no increases permitted. Pricing shall be submitted on a discount-schedule format covering 66 product categories spanning adapters, antifreeze, axles, batteries, braking systems, cables, cooling and electrical components, engines, exhaust systems, filters, fuel system parts, gaskets, glass, hose, hydraulic components, ignition parts, lubricants, power train components, recycled automotive parts, manufacturer-specific replacement parts for Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, and International Harvester, retreading materials, seals, shock absorbers, springs, steering components, tire repair items, transmissions, wheel bearings, wheels and rims, and windshield wipers. Tires, tubes, maintenance and repair operations (MRO) items, and janitorial chemicals are excluded.

The contract runs from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027, with no renewal options. All freight and shipping costs are the vendor's responsibility under F.O.B. Destination terms. The state pays invoices within forty-five days of electronic submission. Manufacturers currently holding Mississippi contracts must submit a purchase summary and signed attestation form certifying sales data accuracy; failure to submit results in disqualification or non-renewal. Proposals must include a signed proposal letter from an authorized representative, a current dealers' and distributors' list identifying all authorized supply partners, and product information with pricing documentation. Manufacturers may request product additions or deletions during the first five business days following contract commencement and again March 1 through March 15 annually, though no price changes are permitted during these periods. Either party may terminate with thirty calendar days' prior written notice.
