Sheet GC400, we assumed 1/8'' Pb (Lead) for flooring of "CT SIMULAOR" room, please confirm. Drawing did not show any item.

There is no lead required in the floor of the CT Simulator Room since the floor is the sub-basement of the building and there is no occupied space below.

The furniture (chair) and equipment (computers) are shown in sheet AD100. Please clarify whether these items are part of the scope. Not included in the demolition.

Chairs and computers are not included in the demolition.

Sheet AE100, finish schedule shows ACT ceiling for control room and corridor but in demolition plan these are existing, please clarify. Not included in cost estimate

The ceilings in the Control Room and Corridor are existing to remain.

Sheet GC300, we assumed height of critical barrier 4', please confirm.

The floor-to-floor height of the space was not shown in the existing conditions drawings provided to the design team. Contractor must verify exact height in the field.

Sheet A101, shows equipment legend schedule equipment for reference, please clarify. All items are added in Tab Equipment, but not priced and not included in cost estimate.

Contractor is responsible for furnishing all equipment noted by a C in the Furnished By column, and installing all equipment noted by a C in the Installed By column.

Sheet M502, Detail 10/M502 "Installation of Thermometer Wells" is given but it is not found in the plans. Please clarify.

Sheet M601, duct construction schedule is provided but it is not found in the plans. Please clarify.

The ductwork construction requirements are as noted in the "extent of ductwork" column. For example all ductwork between the AHU AC-2 and the air terminal box will be +4"wc construction with a seal class of A.

Siemens supplied cables table is shown, we only priced labor cost. Please provide clarification.

Siemens supplied cables will be pulled by Siemens employees during equipment install. Construction contractor to provide all the conduits with removable access covers and pull the cables that is listed under contractor supplied cables list on drawing EP302. See the electrical notes on drawing EP302 for details.

Division 006 - wood, plastics and composites is missing in drawings, please clarify.

Solicitation, Statement of work, 1.c state: Plumbing shall include installation of new sanitary, storm water, and domestic water lines throughout the new addition and the new IT closets. The work also includes the installation of new wall mounted toilets, but these are missing in drawings. please clarify.

Solicitation, Statement of work, 1.d state: Mechanical/HVAC systems shall include the installation of new ceiling suspended fan coil units, wall mounted ductless split system air conditioning units, and wall mounted cabinet heaters The work also includes the installation of duct fire dampers and roof/exhaust fans., but these are missing in drawings. please clarify.

Contractor has to provide ICRA barrier as shown in GC300. No new interior walls are to be installed in the CT simulator room.

The COR during site visit stated that Siemens will be removing the existing CT Simulator and installing the new one. Please confirm in writing as the specs/drawings are not clear.

Yes, existing GE CT simulator will be rigged out and new CT simulator will be rigged into subbasement radiation therapy by Siemens or Siemens authorized equipment broker. It is not part of this contract.

Who will be providing the nurse call system? Will this be the re4sponsibility of the VA or will it be the responsibility of the awarded contractor? If the responsibility of the contractor, who has the VA used for this requirement?

The firm shall be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov . Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million.
