About this opportunity

The US Coast Guard seeks 4,410 feet of aircraft-grade electrical wire (NSN 6145-01-331-9798, P/N M85485/11-24M2A) with proposals due June 16, 2026 and delivery requested June 22, 2026. The procurement is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit quotations. The Coast Guard may exercise an optional increase of up to 10,600 additional feet (maximum 15,010 feet total) within 365 days at the same price and lead time.

Place of performance and delivery is USCG Aviation Logistics Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Wire must be new, approved aerospace-grade material manufactured within the last 12 months, supplied on full continuous-run spools with no breaks or multiple segments per spool. All wire must be manufactured and inspected to applicable SAE standards with Quality Assurance Testing Reports and finished wire resistance checks included at shipment. Wire must be marked per SAE AS22759/NAVAIR 01-1A-505-1 standards (every 6 to 60 inches; 26 gauge and smaller exempt) with manufacturer CAGE code, part number, manufacture date, and coating type. Offerors must provide a Certificate of Conformance per FAR 52.246-15 with airworthiness traceability and documentation confirming new wire status. Quality Assurance requires access to both wire ends with proper heat-shrink termination on the bitter end.

Evaluation employs a tradeoff methodology prioritizing Technical Acceptability, followed by Delivery, then Price. Delivery is rated High Confidence (within 60 days after receipt of order), Satisfactory Confidence (61–90 days), or Low Confidence (91+ days). F.O.B. Destination is requested unless F.O.B. Origin is specified with shipping costs included. Award will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 336413 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
