An industry day will be held on September 23rd to provide an overview of the yard expansion and allow vendors to ask questions about crane specifications. Interested vendors must RSVP by September 21st to attend the industry day, which will include a site visit and Q&A session. The agency will use the information gathered to inform a future solicitation for the luffing crane.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The NAICS code is 333923 for heavy and civil engineering construction, and the PSC code relates to cranes. No current contractors or incumbents were identified. The attached document includes 15 preliminary questions about crane specifications and operational requirements to help shape requirements for the future solicitation and acquisition of one luffing crane.
