About this opportunity

FEMA is seeking potential property management companies to provide existing residential properties, such as corporate apartments, vacation rentals, and foreclosed homes, to be used as temporary housing for eligible disaster applicants affected by Tropical Storm Helene in Tennessee under disaster declaration DR-4832-TN. The properties must be located within 30-60 minutes of the affected counties of Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington, and meet all local, state, and federal codes and standards. FEMA is interested in leasing these properties for a minimum of 18 months and will enter into firm-fixed price contracts, paying rent based on HUD's Fair Market Rent rates. Interested companies are requested to submit capability statements addressing their technical capability, past experience, geographic capacity, and ability to manage the required services. Responses are due by November 25, 2024, and FEMA will use the market research from this RFI to determine the competitive landscape for a potential future solicitation.

This opportunity is not set-aside for any specific business size or type. FEMA encourages small business participation. No potential incumbents or current contractors are named, and the specific award value or budget range is not provided. FEMA is seeking property portfolios readily available for lease, with no specific quantity or timeline for the services mentioned.
