About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit for two needle valves (NSN 1H-4820-015445318-L1, TDP VER 004) with delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, under a sole-source procurement authority (FAR 6.302-1) by September 15, 2026. No set-aside applies. The Government holds rights to a complete technical data package with no restrictions on technical data, engineering, tooling, or manufacturing, establishing a basis for full and open competition should the agency determine competitive sourcing is appropriate. A/RMC codes 1 or 2 are valid for this procurement. Interested vendors may obtain Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, QPLs, and QPDs from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, via ASSIST-Online (http://quicksearch.dla.mil/), or by contacting the ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179 (DSN 442-2667). Technical documents such as patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not stocked at DODSSP and must be obtained directly. The notice invites all responsible sources to identify capability and submit proposals, signaling willingness to consider competing offers despite the stated sole-source intent.
