Location: Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI
The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center has a requirement to replace or modify 36 existing fire doors and frames. The work is in the stairwells from the sub-basement up to the 6th floor and one doors/frame each in the basement and first floor corridors at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, Michigan, 49801.
The project magnitude price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 (construction including new work, additions, maintenance, and repairs) with a size standard $36.5 Million applies.
The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of 110 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer.
The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about November 13, 2018. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for December 18, 2018. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
