LEASE SPACE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING TO COMPETE EXISTING LEASE LOCATIONS
REQUIREMENT: The Federal Government is seeking to lease approximately 50,373 rentable square feet of warehouse space in the Chester, Virginia area. The space shall yield a minimum of 45,470 usable square feet of warehouse space. The lease term shall be (5) years. The Government shall have termination rights upon sixty (60) days written notice to the Lessor.
The Government is evaluating a lease renewal option. The Government shall evaluate extensively the existing leased building inventory to determine the best value for the Government. The Government will consider relocation if economically advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider occupant agency mission requirements, the cost of moving and alterations; among other items will be considered when deciding whether it should relocate.
LOCATION: The delineated area is as follows: The northern boundary shall be Rt. 288 to I-95 to James River. The southern boundary shall be Rt. 106 to W. Quaker Road to Rives Road to Johnson Road; the western boundary shall be Johnson Road to Happy Hill Road to Rt. 288; the eastern boundary shall be James River to Rt. 10 to Rt. 106
The Government reserves the right to amend the delineated area and the terms of the Lease.
OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than May 2, 2009. Expressions of interest shall be submitted by January 14, 2009 and include the following: 1. Building name and address, parking information and associated literature with AutoCad 1/8 scaled floor plans. 2. Rentable square feet and rentable rate per square foot. 3. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet and ANSI/BOMA usable rate per square foot.
