This effort is anticipated to be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Process acquisition.  Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3.

The intent of this project is to renovate the interior of Building #18-C, as well as some portions of the exterior of the building.  This project includes, but is not limited to the following, the contractor removal of existing exterior, interior, and structural components, mechanical system components, electrical and communications components, finishes, ceilings, walls, doors, associated hardwareand the installation of upgraded components as shown on the construction documents.  Base Bid will include oversized/gridded fire suppression system; Bid Option will include a self-contained fire pump and electrical support and deduct for the oversized piping.

In general, the work includes furnishing labor materials in accordance with the Project Drawings and work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements and regulations set forth in the plans, specifications, the contract documents, the Eglin AFB Architectural Standards, the Eglin AFB Wire and Communications Specifications and Standards, and the Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, Version 1.3, IC Tech Spec‐For ICD/ICS 705, and by the Statement of Work dated 02 November 2017.


The performance period is 285 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). 


The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 15 February 2018. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. NO paper copies of the impending solicitation will be furnished.
