Notice text
Develop two new point-of-care, easy-to-use, ultrasound (U/S) systems with improved sensitivity and specificity for imaging that enables caregivers to:
• Triage and prioritize patient transport following an acute blast injury in an initial care setting.
• Make decisions in a timely manner using advanced diagnostics in a definitive care setting therefore reducing cost and length of hospital stay.
The use of 2D ultrasound in a trauma care setting today presents challenges in identifying pathologies that are out of plane as well as subjective assessments and variation between caregivers due to user skill level.
Awarded contract 75A50123C00035 to GE MEDICAL SYSTEMS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES, INC for 64797163.00 on 2023-09-21.
