About this opportunity

This Special Notice was published by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 23. The notice announces the agency's intent to issue a sole source contract to Avera Medical Hospital for radiology services at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System in South Dakota for a five month period from May through September 2020.

The sole source award is being pursued to prevent a gap in critical healthcare services for veterans while the agency solicits and awards a long-term radiology contract. Interested parties were instructed to submit notices of their capability to the named contracting officer by April 16th if they wished to be considered, however, the agency maintained discretion to not further compete the proposed sole source procurement. Avera Medical Hospital is eligible as the sole source as it currently has radiology staff and IT systems in place to perform the requirement for the defined five month period.

Notice text
