About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center is procuring specialized helicopter maintenance tools and parts exclusively from Airbus Helicopters Inc. for their MH-65 Short Range Recovery Helicopter fleet. The procurement includes 100 Cap, Blanking, Tool units (Part Number 703A92-0201-00), 12 Blank, Climatization units (Part Number 366A92-7202-01), and 3 Base, MRH units (Part Number 360A91-3100-02). The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror using simplified acquisition procedures. Quotations are due by September 11, 2025, with this combined synopsis/solicitation serving as the only formal solicitation document that will be issued.

This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations and is structured as a sole source acquisition justified under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) due to the highly specialized nature of the helicopter components. While the Coast Guard intends to negotiate exclusively with Airbus Helicopters Inc. (CAGE Code 3GSZ1) as the only known source, the solicitation states that all responsible sources may submit capability statements or quotations for consideration. The contractor must deliver all items within 60 days after receipt of order, with early deliveries acceptable, to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and is classified under PSC 1730 for Aircraft Ground Servicing Equipment. No specific contract value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation.
