The National Park Service Intermountain Region seeks to procure approximately 1,000 board feet of various untreated pine and Douglas fir lumber items to support the Old Bedlam Deck Project at Fort Laramie National Historic Site in Wyoming. Requirements include tongue and groove decking, railing spindles, support posts, stairs, and sheathing. Quotes are due by December 13, 2023 and must meet the specifications in Attachment 1. Award will be made based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer.
This is a 100% total small business set-aside designated under NAICS code 321113 for Sawmills with a size standard of 500 employees. Delivery of all items must be received by April 1, 2024 and coordinated with the Maintenance Division at Fort Laramie. The place of performance is the Historic Old Bedlam Building. Amendments to the solicitation provided updated FAR provisions and clarified that untreated wood, stock sizes, and custom cuts would all be accepted.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P1424Q0009. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-05 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/.
The acquisition is in support of Fort Laramie National Historic Site.
This is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 321113. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
Questions related to this synopsis/solicitation shall be submitted, in writing, to colton_nelson@nps.gov. Questions shall be received no later than 7 business days prior to the designated response due date to be considered.
