Notice text

The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Texas Health Sciences Center University.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH)/NIA nonhuman primate calorie restriction project began in 1987 and incorporated 120 monkeys of various ages, and both genders into a longitudinal study of lifespan, healthspan, and disease. The monkeys have been studied extensively throughout their lives, yet one of the primary outcomes of the study remains assessment of their tissues. This analysis will provide important information about the effect of calorie restriction on the onset and severity of disease at the tissue level.
Please see the attached SOW, for further information.
