The procurement targets an initial three-year base period with up to four option years. Delivery orders will be issued as needed against a basic contract with terms, conditions, and pricing negotiated upfront.
Two sources are currently approved: Sargent & Greenleaf Inc (CAGE 53085, Part Number 951-001) and Pacific Lock Company (CAGE 1E3D8, Part Number PL951D4). DLA is conducting market research via questionnaire due by May 15, 2026, soliciting information on manufacturer vs. distributor status, business size, commercial distribution networks, product sales history, published pricing data, and interest in the IDC. Respondents must address similarities and differences between commercial and military equivalents and provide information on previous commercial sales pricing adequate for price reasonableness evaluation; certified cost and pricing data is not required for commercial items.
