About this opportunity
The U.S. International Trade Commission published a Special Notice on April 28, 2021 regarding its intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Colonial Parking, Inc. The notice outlines the agency's need for up to 30 monthly parking permits and an unknown number of daily permits from May 2021 through August 2025 for employee parking underneath its building located at 500 E Street SW in Washington, D.C.
The Special Notice aims to provide information on the agency's intent to award a sole source contract to Colonial Parking, Inc. to meet its parking needs. Colonial Parking, Inc. currently operates the on-site parking garage, making it the only company able to provide the required parking services. The notice establishes a deadline of May 31, 2021 for any additional information to be considered and identifies the contracting officers for inquiries. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, this sole source award is justified because Colonial Parking, Inc. is the only responsible source able to meet the agency's needs due to its operation of the on-site parking garage located at 500 E Street SW in Washington, D.C.
