Update #1 ·

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Extramural Research (OER) is planning to issue an RFP for a contract for the OER Agile Software Development Support Services. This will be a Full and Open Competition.

This acquisition is for a recompete requirement and is anticipated to be for base plus options contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide a wide range of software design and development services following Agile development methodologies to support OER systems through the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to 100+ modules that comprise NIH's enterprise Grant Management system, known as eRA. Developed, managed, and supported by OER, the systems manage the receipt, processing, review, award, and monitoring of over $30 billion in research and non-research grants awarded annually by NIH and other grantor agencies. OER systems align with Grants.gov (the one-stop web portal for finding and applying for federal grants), allowing for full electronic processing of grant applications from application submission through closeout of the grant award.
