FEDBIZOPPS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Solicitation Number: 75N97019R00003
Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice
Title of Requirement: OER Agile Software Development Support Services
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION
ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WILL BE ISSUED VIA FEDBIZOPPS ON
OR ABOUT June 10, 2019.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Extramural Research (OER) is planning to issue an RFP for a contract for the OER Agile Software Development Support Services. This will be a Full and Open Competition.
This acquisition is for a recompete requirement and is anticipated to be for base plus options contract.
The purpose of this acquisition is to provide a wide range of software design and development services following Agile development methodologies to support OER systems through the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to 100+ modules that comprise NIH’s enterprise Grant Management system, known as eRA. Developed, managed, and supported by OER, the systems manage the receipt, processing, review, award, and monitoring of over $30 billion in research and non-research grants awarded annually by NIH and other grantor agencies. OER systems align with Grants.gov (the one-stop web portal for finding and applying for federal grants), allowing for full electronic processing of grant applications from application submission through closeout of the grant award.
The RFP will be made available electronically via the FedBizOpps website (https://www.fbo.gov).
Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls will be accepted. No facsimile transmissions will be accepted. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
