NCTC - WATER HEATING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
The National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) is an active training facility for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The NCTC site is a campus setting with multiple buildings, which include lodges, offices, training rooms, a large auditorium, a laboratory, dining facilities, gymnasium, operations support, etc.
The work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of domestic water storage tanks, heat exchangers, mixing valves and recirculating pumps in select buildings. The work includes the removal and disposal of existing equipment as well as provision and installation of tank-type, indirect domestic water heaters, pumps, piping, controls and accessories.
The invitation for bid is scheduled for release on or about 5 July 2018. The bids will be due on or about 6 August 2018. The anticipated award date is on or around 6 August 2018.
The acquisition will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, Invitation for Bid through FedBizOpps. The Government may include options in the solicitation. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A Bid Guarantee, Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. This acquisition will result in a single fixed price construction contract. Award shall be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.
This is an electronically issued acquisition. The Government will issue the invitation via FedBizOpps. Bids will be received in hard/paper copies only. Electronic and fax proposals will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered by this agency.
