About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure fire control radar equipment components through this pre-solicitation notice posted on April 2, 2026. The specific item being procured is classified under NSN 7H-1285-012308080-GL, TDP VER 007, REF NR 5336325, and involves the manufacture or repair of precision components that require specialized test and inspection facilities to maintain ultra-precision quality for system integrity. Contractors must possess the capability to perform specialized testing and inspection that cannot be economically documented in standard Technical Data Packages (TDPs), and valid A/RMC ratings of 3, 4, or 5 are required. All interested parties must include their CAGE code with their solicitation requests. The deadline for submission of proposals is May 18, 2026, allowing approximately six weeks for interested contractors to prepare their bids and gather required documentation.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation, making it open to all qualified contractors. The contract requires the delivery of 90 units FOB Origin, indicating a moderate production volume with delivery responsibility falling on the contractor. While no specific award value is provided in this pre-solicitation notice, the specialized nature of the work and precision requirements suggest this will be a significant procurement. Contractors should obtain relevant Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, and Qualified Products Lists from the DoD Single Stock Point through ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, or contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 for additional documentation support. The availability of specialized test and inspection facilities will be a critical differentiator in the competitive evaluation process.
