About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center has issued a Special Notice for a sole source procurement of engine modification kits for aircraft. The notice pertains to a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), under solicitation number 70Z03825QJ0000168. The procurement involves four units each of two specific engine modification kits (No. 1 and No. 2 engines) for the MH-60T aircraft. The notice is classified under NAICS code 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees and Product Service Code 6620. While initially intended as a sole source procurement, the USCG is allowing other responsible sources to submit quotes for consideration.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to acquire critical engine modification kits directly from the manufacturer to maintain aircraft operational readiness. Contractors interested in submitting quotes must do so by 2:00 PM EST on February 24, 2025, via email to Julie.G.Lininger@uscg.mil and mrr-procurement@uscg.mil, including the solicitation number in the subject line. The procurement is unrestricted, with no small business set-aside, and all responsible sources may submit quotes. Delivery is requested within 200 days after receipt of order, with the USCG encouraging early shipments at no additional cost. The government will determine award based on fair and reasonable pricing, using methods such as current price lists, industry comparisons, and Independent Government Cost Estimates. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at origin by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), with F.O.B. point designated as Origin.
