About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting quotations for a MH-65 Servo, Tail Rotor (NSN 1650-14-404-8798, Part Number 704A44-831-120) through Request for Quotation 70Z03826QB0000025. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items issued under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, classified under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The procurement requires that all parts demonstrate clear traceability to the original equipment manufacturer, Goodrich Actuation Systems SAS (Cage Code: F1688), with FAA-approved components to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness. Contractors must provide a Certificate of Conformance and complete ownership history documentation, and alternate part numbers will not be accepted under any circumstances. The quotation deadline is January 12, 2026, with a requested delivery date of January 31, 2026, and evaluation will be based on best value to the Government while maintaining quality and flight safety standards.
This is a sole-source procurement with no small business set-aside, and the Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order exclusively to Airbus Helicopters, Inc., the only known source approved by the U.S. Coast Guard to provide traceability and genuine OEM parts. While specific award values and total quantities are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, the procurement involves two servo, tail rotor spare parts required for MH-65 helicopter fleet maintenance. Delivery is on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where inspection and acceptance will be performed by local Coast Guard personnel. All packaging and shipping must comply with strict Government guidelines, and contractors must immediately disclose any supply changes, material defects, or non-airworthy conditions to the Contracting Officer for prior approval before disposing of any non-conforming products.
