Added: Jun 12, 2015 9:40 am The National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) is an active training facility for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The NCTC is a campus setting with multiple buildings. This project primarily consists of repairing deteriorated stone masonry stairs, walls, and pavers. In most cases the deteriorated areas will be completely demolished and then rebuilt with both existing and new materials. Other work included as part of this project will be the excavation and construction of a wall drain, architectural concrete flatwork, and the construction of a new dry laid masonry patio area.

PROJECT SCOPE: Additional specifications will be provided in the statement of work. Information on a site visit and instructions to obtain access to the site will be provided in the solicitation.

PROPOSAL PERIOD: The invitation for bid is scheduled for release on or about 27 April 2015. The bids will be due on or about 29 May 2015. The anticipated award date is 22 June 2015.

PROPOSAL PROCEDURES: The acquisition will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside, Invitation for Bid through FedBizOpps. The Government may include options in the solicitation. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A Bid Guarantee, Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. This acquisition will result in a single fixed price construction contract. Award shall be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.

This is an electronically issued acquisition. The Government will issue the invitation via FedBizOpps. Bids will be received in hard/paper copies only. Electronic and fax proposals will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered by this agency.
