About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy London is seeking maintenance services for two CATISO SCADA systems, targeting companies specialized in this technical field. The contract will cover a base year with two optional extension years, focusing on system maintenance and support. The Department of State intends to award the contract to the most responsible company offering the lowest acceptable price, with the potential to evaluate competitive range proposals if necessary. The solicitation will be published on SAM.gov under RFQ #19UK5625Q0016, with vendors having 30 days from publication to submit proposals for evaluation. To be eligible, companies must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov), which requires obtaining a no-cost NCAGE code and providing standard business information.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this opportunity, meaning it is open to all qualified vendors. While specific award value ranges are not detailed, the procurement is significant enough to require mandatory SAM registration for contracts over $30,000. The contract will involve maintenance of two specific SCADA systems located at the U.S. Embassy in London, with a timeline encompassing one base year and two potential option years. The opportunity falls under NAICS category 811 (Repair and Maintenance) and PSC category Z1AA (Maintenance of Office Buildings), suggesting a technical maintenance and support service requirement. Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to complete SAM registration promptly to ensure potential participation in the solicitation.
