About this opportunity
United States Special Operations Command seeks hotel accommodations, meals, lodging, and meeting facilities to support a POTFF Marriage Retreat and Spiritual Resiliency Event scheduled for June 17–20, 2026, with proposals due May 15 at 10:30 p.m. The procurement is a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 721110 (Hotels), size standard $40 million.
Place of performance is the Sokcho, Gangneung, or Yangyang coastal region of South Korea, preferably Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do. The hotel must provide direct beach access without crossing external roads or streets, with no steep paths or cliffs. The contractor must supply two 45-seat buses with one cultural facilitator per bus for transportation from Camp Humphreys on June 18 and return on June 20, coordinated to hotel check-in and checkout schedules.
The event accommodates 87 participants: 47 adults, 2 teens, 21 children ages 6–12, 7 children ages 3–5, and 10 infants under 2, organized across 30 families requiring 22–25 rooms with flexible family configurations. The hotel must provide two adjacent or adjacent-connected childcare rooms on the same floor as meeting facilities, with preference for on-site childcare staff. Dedicated children-centered play areas, an infinity pool, and waterpark access are mandatory. Meals and snacks for all three childcare sessions are required; family-style dining where children dine with parents is non-negotiable. Late checkout or secure luggage storage and security measures or personnel must be provided. Childcare rooms on different floors from meeting spaces, lack of dedicated play areas, unsafe beach access requiring road crossings, or failure to accommodate family dining are material non-compliance disqualifiers. Evaluation factors prioritize hotel location and rating, strategic security and access, operational requirements and flexibility, and hotel amenities. The pricing arrangement is Firm Fixed Price.
