Notice text

The proposed contract action to the Carnegie Mellon University Advanced Building Systems Integrated Consortium (CMU ABSIC; DUNS# 052184116, CAGE# 97668) will provide research services required to accurately document and categorize the key areas of operational and capital investment that produced US General Services Administration (GSA) 30 percent reduction in energy intensity. GSA's actions in this area are driven by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA) which requires federal agencies to reduce energy intensity by 3 percent per year, or 30 percent by FY 2015. U.S. Federal buildings consume $6.5 Billion in utilities each year.
