Luke AFB, AZ, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for Remote Controlled Vehicle Targets. The period of performance is 17 Nov - 17 Dec 2017. Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform services IAW the Statement of Need (SON).


This acquisition is being solicited utilizing full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 336211.


The solicitation will be a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Award will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government with price being considered as well as a vendor demonstration from the apparent low bid after solicitation close. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price.


No paper copies of the solicitation, performance work statement, maps or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted. You must register on the FedBizOpps.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://www.sam.gov/index.html. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this solicitation.


If at any time the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation and not make an award. This announcement does not commit the Government to award a contract. The solicitation as well as the statement of need can be found as attachments to this notice.
