A sources sought notice was posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) on 22 March 2017 under N40085-17-R-3016 to determine availability and capability of businesses to perform the requirement.
Based on market research results, the procurement will be solicited as a small business set-aside. NAVFAC Mid Atlantic’s Office of Small Business Programs concurs with the determination to solicit as a small business set-aside.
This is a small business set-aside and the offeror must be a Small Business. Therefore, due to the set-aside nature of this solicitation and to ensure qualified offerors have the best opportunity to compete, teaming arrangements, and joint ventures are excluded from this competition. The Government will not evaluate any proposal from a team or joint venture.
This is a new requirement. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at www.fedbizopps.gov/ and/or https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available.
