REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide F-15 Pitch and Roll Channel Assembly (PRCA) fixtures. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov.

The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal Request for Purchase (RFP) in fiscal year 2012 for the acquisition of PRCA fixtures.

This RFI is to determine capable and interested parties for supply of the fixtures. Reverse engineering is not a option due to the wear of these fixtures and the limited number available. Potential Source must have data available to manufacture PRCA within specifications. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to provide PRCA. Please limit your submissions to responses to these questions. Send responses to Michael Garner by e-mail at michael.garner@hill.af.mil with a copy to Ronald Rasmussen at ronald.rasmussen@hill.af.mil. Please offer a reply by Wednesday, 11 Aril 2012/1200MST.
