The National Park Service Midwest Region is soliciting proposals for roof replacement, door and window replacement, siding repairs, painting, and gutter replacement at buildings on the EEC Campus of Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula, Ohio. The agency will award a firm-fixed price contract valued between $500,000 to $1 million to the responsible offeror who provides the best value based on an evaluation of technical approach, past performance, and price. Proposals are due by May 26, 2021.

Work must be performed in accordance with Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, Ohio and is expected to be completed within one year of award, which will occur in April or May 2021 to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and provides the best overall value to the government.

SOLICITATION NOTICE:

The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3,4 & 5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the EEC Campus Improvements project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula, OH.

Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for roof replacement, door(s) replacement, window(s) replacement, siding repairs, painting and gutter replacement.

SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6421R0010

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1M.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by April/May 2021 with performance to begin in April/May 2021. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply.

EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236115, and the size standard is $39.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses.

SITE VISIT: See 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995)

The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
