About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 2 units of miscellaneous engine accessories for aircraft under NSN 7R-2995-016332419-F7. This competitive spare parts requirement can only be fulfilled by NAVSUP WSS approved sources of supply who provide FAA-Certified parts with proper FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3) from certified repair stations under 14 CFR Part 14. The procurement will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria with vendors required to submit firm-fixed price quotes. The solicitation is set to close on July 28, 2025, with offers required to be received by this deadline for consideration. While the notice indicates intent to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may submit proposals within 45 days of publication, and commercial item providers have 15 days to identify their capability.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified suppliers meeting the technical requirements. The contract calls for delivery of 2 units FOB origin, with early and incremental deliveries being accepted by the government. No specific contract value or budget range is disclosed in the notice, nor are any incumbent contractors or preferred vendors identified beyond the requirement for NAVSUP WSS approval. The items are classified as commercial/nondevelopmental/off-the-shelf products, suggesting standard market availability among qualified aviation suppliers. The government reserves the right to request additional pricing information from offerors to support fair and reasonable price determinations during the evaluation process.
