About this opportunity

The Transportation Security Administration published this Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice to extend existing contracts with four contractors—Auburn University, Aspen Creek Kennels LLC, Katalyst Kennels, and Project One—to breed and provide up to 152 explosive detection canines in accordance with the Domestic Breeding Consortium's standards through February 2026, with a total ceiling amount of $690,000 and $452,154.45 remaining. The sole source justification is made on the basis that only these four contractors can provide the needed age-appropriate detection canines bred and evaluated under the consortium's standards to meet congressional mandates and support the agency's explosive detection canine program while further data is collected.
