About this opportunity
The FBI seeks capability statements from vendors for the assembly and distribution of custom slim line individual first aid kits (IFAKs) and mini first aid kits (MFAKs), as well as refill kits, to support the Deputy Director's Active Shooter initiative and ongoing training programs. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to provide kits made of 500 denier ranger green or black fabric with MOLLE/PALS attachments, tourniquets, trauma dressings, chest seals, gauze, gloves, and shears. Responses are due by January 31, 2024, at which time the FBI will evaluate vendors' company information and stated ability to meet technical requirements to identify qualified sources for a future competitive solicitation.
There is no set-aside designated for this pre-solicitation notice. The required kits would likely fall under NAICS 335921, PSC 6510, and support training programs for hundreds of law enforcement agents annually. As the incumbent is unknown, estimated contract values are not provided; however, based on the FBI's nationwide operations and training requirements, a potential multi-year award could range between $500,000 to $5,000,000.
