About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure a flight control computer component identified by NSN 7R-6615-014322467-EL under a single-source contract action. This procurement involves acquiring or repairing automatic pilot mechanisms and airborne gyro components, which fall under PSC category 6615. The acquisition is restricted to sources specified on source control or selected item drawings per DoD-STD-100 standards, as suitable technical data and government data rights are not available to permit acquisition from alternative sources. The government has determined that qualification testing of alternative parts and use of second-source components are not feasible for this application. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on April 16, 2025, with a response deadline of November 6, 2025, allowing potential offerors to submit questions and express interest during this period.
This contract action carries no set-aside designation and involves the procurement of seven units on a FOB Origin basis. The specific part number reference (1128SCAV967-11) and the single-source justification indicate this is likely a replacement or repair requirement for existing equipment where technical documentation and manufacturing knowledge are limited to a particular supplier. Interested parties can access relevant Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, and Qualified Products Lists through the DoD Single Stock Point at DAPS in Philadelphia or via the ASSIST-Online database at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179, or by mail to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia.
