About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks weekly bulk deliveries of liquid oxygen and nitrogen not exceeding 50,000 and 30,000 gallons annually, respectively. It also requires the rental of two 3,000 gallon cryogenic storage tanks, a dual pumping station, single pumping station, and oxygen converter. The Naval Sea Systems Command seeks these goods and services for five one-year option periods starting in June 2021. Quotes are due by April 19, 2021 and must remain valid for 60 days. Awards will be made on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis where pricing must be FOB destination and include shipping costs. Vendors must be registered in SAM and provide capabilities statements for technical evaluation.
There is no set-aside designation. The primary NAICS code is 325120 for basic inorganic chemical manufacturing and the PSC code covers liquid and compressed oxygen and nitrogen. The place of performance is Norfolk, Virginia. The period of performance is from June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022 with four additional one-year option periods. The amendment extends the response deadline to April 19, 2021 and clarifies that pricing must include shipping costs to the destination.
