About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy's Naval Air Systems Command is conducting market research for an Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure (ASIST) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BOA) to support various aircraft system services. The solicitation seeks vendors capable of providing comprehensive support including system repair, upgrades, technical data, engineering services, hardware and software solutions, and training. This pre-solicitation notice is a Request for Information (RFI) designed to identify potential qualified contractors before issuing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). The government will use the responses to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement under 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), with all responses due within 10 days of publication (by February 16, 2025). Vendors are encouraged to submit written responses referencing contract number N68335-24-R-0510, understanding that the government retains full discretion in determining procurement approach.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this opportunity, making it open to a broad range of potential contractors in the aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment manufacturing sector (NAICS 336413). The contract will involve delivery orders for recovery systems, equipment, and integrated solutions based on government-furnished engineering drawings and bill of materials. While no specific award value or budget range is detailed, the BOA will support comprehensive aircraft system services including system-level testing, integration, and various technical engineering proposals. The procurement method suggests a potentially significant multi-year agreement with individual delivery orders issued against the blanket purchase agreement. The Naval Air Warfare Center will be the primary contracting authority, focusing on aircraft landing equipment and auxiliary system support.
