About this opportunity
A firm fixed-price contract was awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Langley Research Center to the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder for $731,349. The 36-month contract will support the ARCSTONE InVEST project by having LASP characterize the ARCSTONE integrated detector and cryocooler assembly, design and build a flight calibration system, participate in payload analysis and project reviews, and derive the measurement uncertainty budget to support Level-1 data validation for the ARCSTONE lunar spectral reflectance investigation.
Notice text
A firm fixed-price contract in the amount of $731,349 was awarded to The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder on a sole source basis on 06 December 2021. This effort is the result of the ESTO InVEST Project solicitation. The period of performance for the contract is 36 months and will allow LASP to move forward with the (1) characterization of the government-provided ARCSTONE’s integrated detector and cryocooler assembly (IDCA), (2) final design of the ARCSTONE’s Flight Calibration System (FCS), (3) fabrication and testing of the ARCSTONE’s FCS, (4) participation in ARCSTONE payload analysis activities as required for integration of the FCS, (5) characterization of the ARCSTONE flight instrument, (6) derivation of the ARCSTONE’s lunar-reflectance measurement uncertainty budget, (7) participation in project reviews and meetings, and (8) support ARCSTONE’s Level-1 data validation.
Approved JOFOC is atatched.
