Notice text

The USAF is establishing a 10-year contract for the sustainment of Aircraft Engine Test Stands.

The Engine Test Stand (ETS) system has two different top-level configurations: the T-20 and the T-21 series. The T-20 test stand supports testing, at the Field and Intermediate Maintenance Level, of turbojet and turbofan aircraft engines that exist in the Air Force inventory to evaluate problems so that repairs can be accomplished and perform production runs after repairs are complete. The T-21 test stands accomplish the same objective for T56 turboprop engines.

Services to support the ETS under this contract action will consist of tear down and evaluation (five years), onsite repairs (one year), travel to sites (one year), and updating technical orders and manuals.

The proposed contract action is for services which the Government solicited and negotiated with only one source, Atec, Inc. (CAGE Code: 09552) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 because no other source has the proprietary technical data. The Government does not own the technical data package (TDP), nor is the product under the configuration control of the US Government.

Awarded contract FA8533-23-D-0001 to Atec, Inc for 1765020.00 on 2023-02-15.
