About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia is seeking to procure 67 units of Adapter, Tie Down equipment (NSN 016566421, P/N 901-031-678-137) for A-7 attack aircraft. The Government intends to solicit a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority and has identified The Boeing Company as the intended contractor. This procurement is governed by commercial item procedures under FAR Part 12, and all responsible sources may submit capability statements to demonstrate their interest and capacity to fulfill this requirement. The Buy American Act applies to this procurement. Interested contractors must submit capability statements within 15 days of the notice publication date to be considered, though the Government retains sole discretion to determine whether to compete the contract based on responses received. The due date for responses is November 12, 2025.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and represents a relatively modest quantity requirement of 67 units for delivery on a FOB Origin basis. The Boeing Company is the identified incumbent contractor, though alternative sources are explicitly invited to demonstrate their capability through the source sought process. While no specific award value is stated in the notice, the procurement involves commercial items that should be customarily available in the marketplace. Notably, source approval is required for new vendors, and NAVSUP-WSS will not delay award pending source approval processing, as such approval typically cannot be expedited to meet procurement timelines. The applicable NAICS code is 314999, and the product falls under PSC Category 1670 for cargo tie down equipment.
