Update #3 · Latest ·

Awarded Vendors: The Boeing Company. Contract Award Dollar Amount: Estimated $83M for all 5 years. To be negotiated.. Contract Award Date: 2015-12-28.

Update #2 ·

This requirement is for Logistics Sustainment and Support Services for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) AC-130U Gunship. Logistics Sustainment and Support Services are required to meet operational needs and end-user expectations. This will include Contractor Inventory Control Point , Configuration Management Accounting, and intermediate level repairs. The AC-130U Gunship fleet is a high demand, low density asset that requires rapid and agile sustainment support. Any degradation in support for the AC-130U Gunship could result in aborting combat missions and possible loss of life. In addition, minimal Field Service Representative (FSR) assistance may be required and rendered to support other SOF fixed wing aircraft, on a non-interference basis, with higher priority AC-130U tasks during times of operational contingencies/urgency. Sustainment Support are required for development, modification and maintenance of the AC-130U Gunship. AFLCMC/WIUAA requires quick turn maintenance of select avionic and gun equipment to maintain mission readiness. This objective is to meet operational needs and exceed end-user expectations at the best value and acceptable risk to the Government by maintaining selected avionics and gun equipment.

The total period of Performance shall be limited to 5 years with all options exercised.

It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 15 May 2015. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/ ). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source The Boeing Co., Ft. Walton Beach, FL (CAGE Code: 022T1) under authority of FAR 6.302-1. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
