About this file

The document is a comprehensive set of technical specifications for the Westlands Park Water Feature Reconstruction project in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The project involves reconstructing an existing water feature, encompassing mechanical, electrical, civil, and landscaping components. The specifications detail requirements for water feature mechanical systems, electrical installations, earthwork, decorative concrete finishes, playground protective surfacing, lawns and grasses, exterior plants, and landscape boulders. The work includes demolition of existing water feature components, installation of new piping, pumps, control panels, filters, chemical treatment systems, drainage assemblies, and associated infrastructure.

The project specifications provide extensive technical details for contractors, including material requirements, installation procedures, quality assurance standards, and performance expectations. The project will require specialized contractors with experience in water feature mechanical systems, capable of installing PVC and HDPE piping, pumps, control panels, and nozzles. The specifications outline specific requirements for soil preparation, concrete work, landscaping, and site restoration. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the specifications suggests a significant capital investment in modernizing the park's water feature. The project appears to be funded by the City of Greenwood Village and is designed to enhance the park's recreational and aesthetic value through a comprehensive reconstruction approach.
